NEW! HOW-TO GUIDES TO INTRODUCING LATIN IN YOUR SCHOOL
Interested in introducing Latin to your school but unsure how to start? The Classics in Communities team have complied these two short guides to help get you on the way.
In addition to the sources of help mentioned in the guides above, teaching support is also available from the following online sources:
THE CLASSICS LIBRARY
The Classics Library is aimed at Classics teachers everywhere: teachers can share news and resources, promote events and teaching positions, reach out to colleagues in the discussion groups. It is free to register and access all areas and menus. The site also offers The Classical Anthology, a collection of beautiful, inspiring and memorable passages from Greek and Latin literature, each with a translation. It includes anything written in Greek or Latin, from earliest times to the present day.
Provides useful information for teachers and would-be teachers of Classics in England.
TEACHING CLASSICAL LANGUAGES
Peer-reviewed, online journal dedicated to the teaching of Greek and Latin. It is sponsored by the Classical Association of the Middle West and South (CAMWS).
